all that counts... matters

It has been a longtime since i had blogged. I almost forgot that I used to blog. Well! today i just thought i need to scribble something... don't ask me why... even if you ask... i wouldn't know it...
Thought process doesn't really kick... nothing is coming out and don't know on what topic to write... May be i can try triple benefits... well that is something i think my clients should be getting it... may be i can try Indian politics... this is something which i wouldn't know much... but may be i can give a shot...
I was in discussion with some person sometime back... he was talking about nanden nillkani... the infosys guy... it seems he wrote a mail to his colleague about his first day experience in the great Indian Parliament... and the mail was leaked and forwarded to many... Well! for me to believe to that story... i have to be Stupid... Well as you all know am not anymore... I would say he is a good politician on day one... you should be knowing it why...
Indian politics is well crafted and the people to whom we cast our vote really make a difference.... i have always believed in that.
Our political system is simple to view and complex to be a part of it. India is a middle class dominated country, and this class see no much change in their way of life no matter who rules. And sadly, these votes set the background of the rulers. This is what perhaps creating the best political system to perform below expectations. In so many years, i have seen the drive for me from chennai to bangalore is good. The drive on the ecr is cool. Easing the traffic through the over-bridge is awesome. Growth in rural education is welcoming. and lot more to add. The big truth of our political system is that, how much ever corrupt a person in the political system is... if he fails to perform he vanishes.
I guess, the day we start appreciating our politicians things will change in a faster pace.

Hmmm...thought provoking...you have outlined big changes on the Indian landscape yes, but in a bigger country like India, this is just not enough. We're growing, but at a crawl. A brisker pace would be much appreciated if we are to become the world power that the US fears we will become someday!

Wow! great observation. I am not too concerned about India becoming a super power (though its good to be). I was always worried about the poverty which still prevails in our country for a very longtime. Hope India becomes a poverty free country soon...
