Waves

I have been receiving waves of feedback for my past few blogs. The feedback said, my blogs are boring these days and doesn't really make things interesting. Well! i felt the same too... after reading it couple of times :) Thanks all for the feedback provided to me over the phone, e-mails and all other ways. Actually it is only handful of them. I just wanted to blog this..
Why waves? What waves? i guess that's the best distant communication till date...
Communication industry over the past decade has changed our lifestyles to a great extent. The list of things which we have personalized for us is way too much... we all have a number these days, e-mail ids, fb and orkut accounts, a twitter id, a chat id. So, many ways to say a hi :). I was watching the TV commercial for airtel or vodafone or aircel or something (almost every ad looks d same), they were all communicating about saying one word... Well! and there was an other commercial which said live every moment and wherever you go we follow stuffs. How true, i live every moment and the network follows me everywhere i go too (no matter whatever service i use)... Like, i was in my deep sleep and was in a dreamland... and i received a call (i have some funny ring-tones too)... the person said "sorry to disturb you at this time, but its important". Well! i did live every moment and wherever i go it did follow too... even in my dreams. At that living moment i thought life sucks and i strongly disliked following stuff too. sometimes its good if nothing follows you and u live your every moment.
I mean things have changed these days... Lets assume you have been invited for lunch at someones home. Years back the people who had invited u will prepare a tasty food and wait until u come for lunch. These days, you receive a call in the morning conforming the time (if they don't call... u give a call to them) and then a call when you start from your home... and then provide a update about traffic to them and finally you give a call when your 10 minutes away from their home. why these many calls... people these days don't have patience or may be tolerance. They e-mail you and expect a reply within hours.
The waves of communication have changed our world. Welcome to our new world. Kids these days have access to everything with the Internet. People speak and exchange texts even at late night hours.
I was thinking deep inside on how we should be managing our children in this new age of unlimited exposure. I thought these could be the probable things we have to do.

1. Teach them tolerance.

2. Don't allow them to have a personal e-mail id. Create a common e-mail id for your kids which can be accessed by you and your wife.

3. Don't encourage kids to own them a cell phone. Let them use either of your number or the home telephone number.

4. Create browsing restrictions for your kids in your home computer.

Do all these at least until your kid is 16 or 18.
These can be the vital factors in future.
We all know the good things about these developments. But, there is also a flip side which i think we need to see.

Neither is Ram worried nor Allah is... But I am...

Do you think British were the only people who implemented divide and rule at India? I guess they thought and few people here at the independent nation are still experimenting the same option.
I was hearing the news again about the demolition of mosque after 17 years as the Headlines. It was worrying deep inside of me that the country will once again fall apart. Well! am not going to talk about BJP or Shiv Sena or any other uncivilized or civilized political party. Am not so knowledgeable to scribble about that. All i want to say is I had a friend during those days who practiced Islam as it was the religion from his ancestor days and on Dec 6th during one of the very old years some incident took place somewhere by which he was affected. And it took day for us to bring him back to normality. I stay in a place where when i walk on the road i will find Abraham, Ibrahim and Brahmans walking along the streets seeing no difference in their religions. I only wish... few people who love the British way don't let us again to the dark days which they did years back.
If one thinks what is the real purpose of religion... and the reason we pray God... These ill-beneficial activities will not happen. I guess people are lazy to think deep and straight. Many times it makes me wonder... no matter how many sensible people live in this world... still things happen...

all that counts... matters

It has been a longtime since i had blogged. I almost forgot that I used to blog. Well! today i just thought i need to scribble something... don't ask me why... even if you ask... i wouldn't know it...
Thought process doesn't really kick... nothing is coming out and don't know on what topic to write... May be i can try triple benefits... well that is something i think my clients should be getting it... may be i can try Indian politics... this is something which i wouldn't know much... but may be i can give a shot...
I was in discussion with some person sometime back... he was talking about nanden nillkani... the infosys guy... it seems he wrote a mail to his colleague about his first day experience in the great Indian Parliament... and the mail was leaked and forwarded to many... Well! for me to believe to that story... i have to be Stupid... Well as you all know am not anymore... I would say he is a good politician on day one... you should be knowing it why...
Indian politics is well crafted and the people to whom we cast our vote really make a difference.... i have always believed in that.
Our political system is simple to view and complex to be a part of it. India is a middle class dominated country, and this class see no much change in their way of life no matter who rules. And sadly, these votes set the background of the rulers. This is what perhaps creating the best political system to perform below expectations. In so many years, i have seen the drive for me from chennai to bangalore is good. The drive on the ecr is cool. Easing the traffic through the over-bridge is awesome. Growth in rural education is welcoming. and lot more to add. The big truth of our political system is that, how much ever corrupt a person in the political system is... if he fails to perform he vanishes.
I guess, the day we start appreciating our politicians things will change in a faster pace.

s...e...a...r...c...h............

This is one word every human has it common. Searching for the right leader, searching for terrorists, searching for peace, searching for hints, searching for love, searching... searching... and searching... the search never ends in our life.
Recently Google completed some x number of years since they first launched... The worlds popular search engine. It is so interesting that whatever you want to know... type it and you find results. Even if you want to know Where is God or Where is Prabhakaran or Where is truth. If you were in search of these then you would realize your search would yield millions of results. As i belong to this wonderful industry of the world wide web and information technology, i was feeling good that utilizing the world in which i operate knows everything.
This is what we are today, part of the virtual world. Where you will find answers but not the correct answer. Its a different world where we are making our livelihoods. We have adopted a life style where we are not truthful in ourselves and many times we hide ourselves from us.
Humans ability to keep focused and use their gifted brains to search and find answers is a awesome process. The way in which we search for things today has taken a different form. It is time bounded... It settles on approximate and assumption rather than accurate and conclusion. Few days back i closed my eyes and was doing my own self analysis, where i asked my self simple questions... how truthful am i, have i done at least 10 good things for the society for the past 10 years... may be even 1... when was the last time i searched something desperately which my heart wanted to do... and few more questions... the results were not satisfactory...
May be we need to optimize our search to yield perfect and appropriate results.
Am incomplete.... Am in search of many things...

Real Indian Celebrations at Oscar

What a day it is at Oscar (The most respected awards for movies globally). WOW! Probably no awards until now might have been celebrated in the slums of Mumbai and at the villages of UP as what it has celebrated for Oscars.
Oscar awards, ARR, Danny, Slumdog millionaire and Smily Pinki has given hopes and happiness to so many Indians who fight for their livelihood. This day will change their life, they have gained hopes and they will be even more optimistic about life.
Many thanks for SM and SP team to showcase the other part of India which many Indians close their nose and eyes. Now, its the same areas which have got those awards.
ARR, has always been my inspiration and am extremely happy for him to win the double awards back to back and make our country proud.
It was great to watch who were walking in the red carpet along with legends like ARR, Danny, Kate, Brad and much more globally celebrated people. It was the kids from the slums of Mumbai and Pinki. What a day of hope and optimism for all those Indians who have been neglected longtime.
Jai ho is probably not the best of ARR but undoubtedly its probably one of the ever best inspiring songs ever created in the world by any musician.

Blink

on a beautiful day when i was walking in the streets which was buzzing with the various sounds of vehicle engines, horns and people's voice. In that instant my thought was wide open and started thinking what could be happening around in a moment in blink of my eyes. what will my parents, brothers, sister-in-laws, children and friends will be doing in just a moment i had blinked my eyes. somewhere someone might have accepted the persons love. someone somewhere might be enjoying a roller-coaster ride. someone somewhere might have just joined a terrorist group. someone might have just got shot by someone. someone might have hit the ball to boundary. someone might have just got anxious because of someone. And many more things to list and all in just a blink of eyes.
It made me to think even deeper by increasing my eye click time and what more might have happened. things might have got worse, got good, or may be got settled for someone somewhere. How wonderful world where every human and other species have their own life living every microsecond. Life is what we call it. Life on earth. we are even finding possibility of such kindoff life in other terrestrial regions away from earth.
It is also so wonderful how is that one human is connected to another in a emotional way and making their world and life a big one. Words like commitment, care, help and love attached between one human and other for which we give names as various relationships.
When the world is so open and life is so interesting, where in every blink there is suspense in our life which gets unfolded.
Having my mind chewed enough on what happens in a blink. realised life is a constant changing and evolving process for each one of us and no second is same as the this second, as we all know. and every human your connected to keeps thinking and their thought process also evolves with time.
So, if there is communication block between any two humans. I would suggest to speak it out and sort it out as said my Mahatma Gandhi, this reduces the various unwanted assumptions which occupy the precious time of your blink and will ensure your mind is free and thinks productive.
We all at least have a little control here and there in our own world to make things better. Ensure, from the next time you blink everyone is happy about you and happy for you and utmost your also happy about you and with others.

The RiDe

I was out of city to reach a town which is around 350 kilometers away. The person whom I was meeting took his last breath on Saturday at 6:20 AM and was never going to try to breathing once again. I was meeting him to send him safe and also burn him to ashes.
I reached the town around 11:30 pm on the same day night. Had to rest my body to flat position at least for some 4 to 5 hours time by keeping my eyes closed. Yes! I was tired and had to sleep for 5 hours.
The sun kept rising and the stroke of the ocher fell on my eye lids demanding for the black and white rolling stuff to view the beauty. It must be around 6 in the morning as I walked out to the street and watched the house where I should be leaving in the next hour. The house had a new temporary roof made in the front with tent materials.
I sipped the sunrise coffee, it’s an addiction for me. I will not be able to do anything if I don’t sip the coffee in the morning. I rolled the beddings and dressed my self in a unfashionable style. I stepped out of the house where I was staying to reach that house. The door was wide open and people were dropping in and dropping out. They also came for the same purpose I had come.
The time was heading noon, everyone had paid their respect to him as he was resting in freezer box which had a intake of some 220 volts and covered with a glass top. The time was moving steadfast and it was time to get his body out to bring it to ashes.
I stepped out of the house to look at the mortuary travel facility. I noticed a mortuary auto. Haven’t seen anything creative and usable like that before. The vehicle was decorated with flowers and also had a bird tied and hanging. His body was perfectly fitted in the provided rails and was taken across the small lanes showered by flowers to reach the final destination.
The auto gave some acceleration as it was going too slow and finally engine was stopped at the electrical funeral. This was the first time I was witnessing electrical funeral. It was a touch of creativity and technology. People were gathered there too and once the body was taken out of the auto and kept at the electrical burial, a perfect situational background music was played to add more glamour to the occasion. The final formalities were completed and his body drove inside the electrical furnace. The end result a small pot of ash and probably few bones too. The remains provided was also not left, it was finally washed at shores of river of kaveri.
Being a bachelor all his life, there were no 3rd and 10th day rituals, a sad thing I thought being a bachelor. He was leading his life in a very good manner by helping others and showering lots of love and affection for the people whom he thought they deserved it. He was my uncle.
Thought can share my experience of taking the last ride with someone.
